OUR CAMPUS

Photo of the Centriq Building

Our Animation Certificate Programs are located in Kansas City, Missouri in the beautiful Centriq Training building at 1740 West 92nd Street off of State Line Road (the border between Kansas and Missouri). This is a great campus designed for students with a Starbucks next door and Ward Parkway Mall and food court just two blocks away.

Our campus has state-of-the-art computers and a fun creative environment where our students can learn with other talented students by their side. Contact us to set up a tour!

One of the greatest things about attending our in person program is the incredible advantage of sharing ideas in a school environment with other students and learning from each other as well as from our instructors. Working next to others with great skills and ideas elevates your own work to new levels you never dreamt of. We know this leads to the best portfolios, and life-long industry collaborator-alumni classmates.

Our computer lab is open to all students for doing homework and receiving help from our expert instructors. There’s no better place in Kansas City to get animation training for games, movies, or television.

KANSAS CITY & OVERLAND PARK

Photo of the Crossroads District in Kansas City

Our campus is in Southern Kansas City, adjacent to the suburbs of Leawood and Overland Park. The popular Power & Light District in downtown Kansas City and the Country Club Plaza in midtown are just a 10-15 minute drive. The suburbs of Leawood and Overland Park are consistently rated as some of the best places to live in the US, with plentiful housing, amenities, and a lower cost of living than cities on the coasts.

Home to our Founder, Gavin Dell, Kansas City was also the birthplace of the animation industry. Walt Disney’s first studio was here near downtown, with a staff that included the animators "Friz" Freleng, Hugh Harmon and Ub Iwerks, who went on to help establish the major animation industry studios still in existence today. Because of these important icons in the animation industry, Kansas City has been referred to as the “Cradle of Hollywood”.
