STORYBOARD 3
Production Boards
Storyboarding for television is the #1 most-hired job in the US 2D animation market, with each production employing anywhere from 4 to 16 storyboard artists. To succeed in this competitive field, you’ll need a strong grasp of posing, timing, editing, camera work, composition, and screen direction—all while adapting to different show styles.
In this course, you’ll take your storyboarding skills to a professional level, mastering the techniques used by Production Board artists in the industry. You’ll also learn essential production shortcuts, tips, and tricks while creating animatics from your storyboards from experts in their craft.
PREVISUALIZATION
Blockbuster Film Making
In this course, you’ll step into the world of previsualization (previz) and learn how to bring massive, cinematic ideas to life before they hit the big screen. Previz is essential in the production of blockbuster movies, helping directors and production teams visualize complex scenes, stunts, and visual effects in the planning stages.
You’ll work with storyboards, 3D models, and animatics to create a virtual blueprint for a film, helping to plan camera angles, lighting, movement, and timing before the camera ever rolls.
GAME ANIMATION 2
Cinematics
In this course, you’ll dive deeper into the world of game animation by bringing characters to life as they move through interactive environments. Get ready to animate characters running obstacle courses, climbing, swinging, and leaping from buildings and objects. These movements are the building blocks of a character’s abilities in a game engine.
You’ll also export your animations into Unreal Engine, allowing you to see your characters come to life within a real game engine environment.
STORYBOARD 4
Feature Films and Beyond
This course takes your storyboarding skills to the next level, focusing on the art of cinematic storytelling and how to effectively convey complex narratives through visuals. You'll learn how to tackle advanced scenes, emotional beats, and intricate action sequences, all while maintaining a strong sense of pacing, composition, and character-driven storytelling.
